    We had a lovely final day in Year 1. We learnt how to safely use the fire pit down in our school woods to toast our own marshmallows (and veggie mallows).

  • What a lovely end to our Nursery year!

    What a lovely afternoon we had in the woods on Friday when our Nursery families joined us for a cream tea! We would like to say a massive thanks to Tescos for donating the cream tea, and to Ash Rance for gathering it all for me to collect, we all throughly enjoyed it!

    The Nursery team would like to wish all our families a wonderful, fun filled summer! 

  • Year 6 Celebration Day and Primary Futures Careers visit

    It has been such an action packed week in Year 6 as we have striven to provide our Year 6s with a rounded and fantastic experience. 

     

    On Monday we were visited by career speakers. This included a visiting aerospace engineer (who brought with him a blade from an airbus engine!) and a Naval Officer who told us about her journey into the Royal Navy and her career travelling around the world. 

     

    Celebration day offered more fun activities with a bouncy castle, volleyball, archery, street surfing, pancake cooking in the woods and ice-cream making.  

  • Year 6 - Tag Rugby Intra Class competition

    What a lovely way to finish PE with year 6 today with a intra year house group competition! Again like the younger age groups they impressed with their understanding of the game from earlier in the year and showed some fantastic tagging, team work and try scoring! A great send off for a brilliant year group!

    Reaching the end of their primary school journey was worth celebrating! They danced, they jumped, they bounced, they sang, they ate, they drank … and then they bounced and sang some more! A fabulous evening. 🌟

  • Year 4 Intra class Tchoukball Competition

    Yesterday was year 4’s turn to take each other on at one of the children's favourite’s, Tchoukball! 
    The children showed how much they remembered from their lessons and showcased there skills, sportsmanship and teamwork in a great afternoon of matches. Well done year 4!

  • Year 5 - Minibeast Hunt in the Woods!

    Yesterday afternoon, Year 5 spent the afternoon in the woods hunting for minibeasts. We used classification keys to tally the different types of minibeasts that we found. Today, we turned that data into pie charts using the Chromebooks. So much awesome learning! 

  • Year 6 computer programming

    In our topic on evolution, we have become data scientists learning how to program conditional events related to the spread of a virus. By doing this, we have been able to create simulated models of how viruses spread and how different measures such as face masks and vaccines will limit the spread of a virus.

    They have retained their title and will now be choosing their class treat.
