Year 5 - Geography
Tue 25 Jan 2022Yesterday, Year 5 used Digimap to locate Henry VIII's homes from the Tudor times. We also dropped markers and created keys to clearly idenitfy which home had been located.
Then, we used the eight points of a compass to track the direction that Henry would have needed to travel from one home to the next. Ask us to tell you about the compass points!

Nursery- A cold and frosty morning in the woods
Mon 24 Jan 2022The frosty morning didn't dampen the spirits of Nursery in the woods on Friday. The children enjoyed crunching on the frozen leaves, exploring the ice they found in the water tray and splashing in melting puddles! Despite the cold the children even found the strength and energy to push the tyres up the hill! A great morning full of play and opportunity in our school's natural playground. 🌳🍃

The apples have been drying out on string for the past few days and were finally ready to try today! We dipped them into honey and enjoyed a very tasty Tudor treat.
The method was so simple and easy to follow; you might even like to try this yourself at home!
