Year 2 were visited by Reverend Judson from the Honiton Family Church to learn about how Christians celebrate Easter in their church. He told them about the Easter story and the importance of this to Christains. The children found 6 different eggs from the playground which each contained an object that linked to the Easter story: money, handcuffs, thorns, a cross with a nail, a blanket and a stone. He then even finished with a song from his church. 

Year 2- Den building

Year 2 loved being down in the woods for their PE lesson where they showed collaboration and perseverance to build a den. They had to problem solve to come up with the best way to create a den using the materials available to them. Their den had to fit their whole team inside, as well as keep them dry in bad weather. This was even tested at the end with a watering can being splashed at their den!

Year 2- Multi Skills

Before half term, Year 2 had a lovely time at the sports centre taking part in the Multi Skills session led by the college students. 

Before half term, Year 5 were learning about electrical conductors and insulators. We tested lots of different materials within electrical circuits to test which ones conducted and which ones insulated electricity.
