They've only gone and done it again...

Calling all Nursery and Reception parents and carers! We hope you are having a safe and happy half-term. Remember, our online learning journal, Tapestry, allows you to upload photos and videos of all the cool things you have been doing during the break. All of The Reception Team access the app and we respond to every post. Why not give it a go?!

We can't quite believe it...

The Leprechauns have done it again! 

This Year 1 class are simply unstoppable. 

Make sure you Doodle as much as possible over the half term as every minute counts. This is also a week that will count towards our class challenge so do your bit to help your team. 

Can anyone defeat the Leprechauns?!  

Mr Watson set up an amazing adventure playground as a special treat for Year 1. We had an amazing time!

Year 1 had a lovely morning preparing tiny tasty treats to share with the woodland creatures. Have a look at some of their amazing creations! Then we spent the afternoon in the woods, enjoying our treats and wearing our crowns to celebrate the end of our Enchanted Woodland project. Well done Year 1, enjoy a lovely half term holiday.

This week, Year 6 have worked incredibly hard on their suspense big writes. We have drafted, crafted and edited our stories to produce some truly terrifying tales that we know will leave you on the edge of your seat. Year 6 - we are very proud of you! 

A huge well done to the children that eared their certificate today and to those for working hard with their reading at home! Don't forget that you will have access to ebooks to support with reading at home! Please write in the yellow books for when your child has read. You will also find in their the login details for the Big Cat ebooks. A letter has been sent out today explaining how to access these. Have a lovely half term and we will see you when you get back! 

The children have really enjoyed carving and scooping out pumpkins this week. They used spoons to scrape out all the seeds and flesh and then they used the pumpkin flesh to bake pumpkin cupcakes, yum! Lots of stirring, scraping and pouring; all working those arm and finger muscles contributing to developing those gross and fine motor skills!
