It was Year 4’s turn to put their skills to the test with implementing all skills learnt over the past lessons and to put them into a game! Understanding the rules was the main focus whilst working as a team to get effective outcomes. Well done year 4!

Year 3 have been working very hard putting all the skills of Racketball together resulting in some excellent game play today. Even at this young age it was impressive to see the children begin to understand the importance of moving into space, which type of pass to use best and always trying to improve their accuracy and catching techniques. Well done!

What a fantastic morning we had today! Mr Watson and a team of 6 boys and 6 girls from year 5 & 6 went across the the leisure centre to compete in the cluster schools indoor athletics competition and wow did they do well! The two teams jumped, threw and ran their socks off in a very enjoyable mornings athletics. Mr Watson was blown away with the teams support for each other as well as the respect and sportsmanship shown towards the opposition.

We are super proud of these 12 children today as both teams have qualified for the East Devon Finals in January with both teams qualifying in 1st place! Simply an Amazing achievement! Congratulations! 

Our annual HPS Food Bank Collection is taking place this week on Wednesday 1st of December. 

Please come to school in non-uniform with a donation for our collection.

We have helped so many local families over the years and this one will be no exception.

Year 1 loved their P.E. lesson today where they put together all of what they have been learning in gymnastics. 

To get ourselves ahead of the game, we are planning to decorate new SOLE books for the children before Christmas. Please collect any pictures, photos, cutouts and so on that your child might like to use and bring them into school by Friday 10th of December.
