After the heavens opened this afternoon we emptied the water tray and asked the children to collaborate to fill it using only rain water. Operation objective achieved!

It was wonderful to see the teamwork, collaboration and determination from Year 4 during their sports day. Thank you to all the parents who came to support their efforts (& to compete themselves too!).

Year 5 Sports Day

This afternoon, Year 5 took part in Sports Day. We had such great fun; the rain didn't dampen our spirits in any way because it was just so great to be outside together with our friends! We used lots of collaboration to work as a team and persevered when things were tricky. Thank you to Mrs Ayres and Mr Watson for all of your hard work in organising the event for us. Well done Year 5!

Creativity in Nursery

Our children in Nursey are so creative. They use the resources in their own way to pretend, imagine, make music and explore.

Race for Life

Our Race for Life is happening this Friday!

The children will need to come to school in their Honiton Primary School PE kits. We would also like to see a touch of pink too; this could be a pink tutu, pink headwear, pink socks, pink legwarmers… the list goes on!

The children will stay in their PE kit for the rest of the day. You may need to send your child in with a hat and suncream as they will be outside for the event. A named drinks bottle will also be essential please.

Please also remember to send all sponsorship money and forms in by Friday too.

Year 5 and 6 Honiton’s Got Talent Auditions

Yesterday, the pupils and teachers of years five and six were treated to a fantastic variety of talents: dancing,

singing, drumming, piano playing, magic tricks and an environmental performance.

Year 5 Fire Talk

This afternoon, Year 5 were visited by two of our local firefighters: Max and Gemma.

They talked to us about the role of a firefighter and how important it is to understand fire safety. There is so much we can do to help prevent fires; ask us to tell you all about what we have learned! Please also take this opportunity to check your smoke alarms. These should be tested once a month and are so crucial in keeping everyone safe!

Year 3- Sports Day!

Today we had our Sports Day! It was lovely to invite our parents to come and watch. We used fantastic collaboration and perseverance and our behaviour was excellent!
