Sat 30 Jan 2021 Mr. Lopez

Now, more than ever before, we need to consider our children's mental health and wellbeing. Next week, the charity, Place2Bes, are holding their annual focus week. Why not join in the live National Oak Accademy assembly on Monday 1st @ 9.00am or have a go over the week at some of the activities on the HPS - Values page.  Remember to email in anything you do or post it on Tapestry if you are in the EYFS! Take care, it's as important as Maths, English and Grammer!

  • Year 3 - Better late than never!

Fri 29 Jan 2021 Miss McManus

Not at my usual time today; oh the joys of relying on the internet!!

But alas,  once again I have seen lots of fabulous examples of learning from children across Year 3.  I have seen amazing stories written, GPS activities completed, some amazing poems and some phenomenal artwork all linked to our topic of Tremors. It's been hard to get through all the pictures because of how many there have been!  You guys are truly amazing and completely dedicated to your learning.  You should all be feeling really proud of what you are achieving because I know that we are!

I've attached the pictures that I have received today and as you can see, there are LOADS showing off FABULOUS learning!

Monday's tasks and videos are uploaded ready for you to have a look over or prepare, but make sure you have some time off this weekend to relax and have fun as a family!

Missing you all loads, but super proud each and every day.

  • Year 6: Wonderful Work

    Fri 29 Jan 2021

Absorption and focus has been in abundance this week in Year 6; and these photographs prove that no maths, English, reading, French, RE or art challenge is too great to tackle head-on!

You have impressed us with your dedication to your studies and we are all feeling very proud of each and every one of you - well done Year 6!

  • Year 6: Fabulous Finding Tales

    Fri 29 Jan 2021

Careful thought, maximum effort and time well-invested in planning always pays off when it comes to the point of writing. These children's 'big writes' prove that in the quality of the setting descriptions, and in the language choices that show the movements and actions of their characters. Maintaining the interest of the reader is key, and with a variety of sentence starters along with adjusting sentence lengths will definitely bring tension and suspense to our audiences.

These are remarkable Year 6 - very well done!

  • Year 2: Super learning!

    Fri 29 Jan 2021
Some fantastic learning this week in year 2! There has been some brilliant learning on shapes and identifying their properties. We have been particularly impressed with the standard of writing and what you think of the Disgusting Sandwich! Don't forget next week we will be investigating what makes the biggest bubbles! Will it be the thin straw, thick straw, pipe cleaner or string? Make sure you've got your things ready for Tuesday!
