Year 3 Wizards! 

Well done to everyone across the school for all of your Doodle efforts - keep up the good work! 

In between issues with the laptop and internet today, it has been really lovely to receive some fabulous photos of children within Year 3 who once again have been working hard across all areas of the curriculum.

I particularly love seeing one young lady visiting the play park, swinging away whilst working out the forces in action whilst doing so.  She correctly identified that there is a push and a pull with some air resistance too!  More importantly though, she was out having fun and looking after her mental health!  Every moment is a learning moment!

In Reception, we are very excited to now have some frog's eggs! These will soon turn into tadpoles and then into frogs (or possibly toads, Miss Wilton is not sure at the moment!).

We have been getting these settled in their new temporary home, ready for when our Reception children come back to school! 

We can't wait to watch the changes!  

Recycle your plastics for a good cause!

Just a reminder that our Recycle and Raise bin is still in our school carpark to collect any of your plastics (see picture for what can be collected). The bin looks a tad misleading so please see the photo (it is the bin on the right). All money raised by the recycling of these plastics go towards the Dartmoor Zoo and MIND charity! 

Today in Nursery the children had a go at trying something new; Spring rolls with chopsticks!

It wasn't easy but using their fine motor skills the children carefully managed to pick up their spring rolls using the chopsticks and have a taste. The spring rolls weren't to everyone's liking but they all gave it a go and enjoyed the challenge of eating with the chopsticks. 🍜

Welcome back Year 4. We hope you have had a lovely half term!

This week we have received lots of amazing photos of hard work, dedication and an amazing attitude to learning from these two boys.

Look at all the incredible photos of Maths, English, GPS, Reading & SOLE work. It is also so lovely to see them getting their daily exercise and enjoying this beautiful, sunny weather.
