  • Pupil Voice on British Values

Wed 16 Feb 2022 Mr. Lopez

At HPS we are always looking at new and exciting ways to offer our children the opportunity to share their voices on issues that impact their lives. This year, a group of Year 5 children have been working with Exeter University on a project exploring their views on British Values. What does it mean to be British?, what values are important to us? and how can our values shape our lives and those of others? These were just some of the questions that the children explored during the project. With the help of their tutor, Rosie, the children presented their work and findings to their parents and school staff at the Thelma Hulbert Gallery in Honiton. We could not be more proud of these children.

  • Visitors to Nursery garden...

    Wed 16 Feb 2022

The children were very excited to find two frogs (or toads?) in our garden today. We ensured that we kept our distance to look, and when they jumped it made us jump too! As the children were so interested we watched a CBeebies program to find out some things about frogs. The most exciting thing we found out was that there are yellow and black frogs called bee frogs and bright blue tiny frogs!

  • Year 5 - Phases of the Moon
