    Year 6 Sports Day

Year 6 had an incredible Sports Day which saw the children take part in a full day of activities. We competed in events such as the high jump, the relay and the vortex throw in the morning and then took part in our team events during the afternoon. The throwing was amazing; the running was so speedy; the jumping was incredible; the effort was exceptional; the collaboration was brilliant.

This was a truly spectacular way to end our primary school journey. A big thank you to Mrs Ayres and Mr Watson for all of their hard work to ensure that we had a really special day!

It was a brilliant showcase of all of your perseverance and collaboration skills and you were all very supportive of each other, cheering on your teams and trying your hardest to win your team points. You should all be very proud of yourselves. A huge thank you to Mrs Ayres and Mr Watson for organising such a wonderful afternoon, too!

  • Year 2 - Sharing our Learning with Grown Ups!

    Thu 29 Jun 2023 E. Long

We were very lucky and blessed yesterday afternoon as our grown ups came in to share our fantastic learning that we have been doing over the past year.  They got to explore our books and the children shared what they had been up to, showing our new learning maps and explaining how the purple represented what they knew at the start and then the red to show what they learnt.  The grown-ups were blown away by how much they have learnt across the year and how much their presentation had improved too!

After, they kindly helped the children decorate their 3rd SOLE book - Yes 3RD!  The children had been so busy that they have already filled up 2 books!

This half term, Year 5 have been lucky enough to have some cricket training. Each week we have been practising a specific cricket skill that will help improve our overall game. Last week, we practised batting! We hit the ball off of markers and then eventually played in a small team game to practise our batting in a game environment.
