  • Who can help you in an emergency?

Mon 30 Nov 2020 The Reception Team
Well if you are stuck in the snow, mud or a raging river Mr. Tribble and his truck will be who you want to see. Today he kindly took time out of his day to share his experiences with us. He also delivered our new Storytelling text, ‘Stuck’ by Oliver Jeffers. We can’t wait for the week ahead to learn more about the people who can help us when we have a problem. Thank you Mr. Tribble.

  • Year 3 - Amazing Learning at Home with a chef in the making!!!

Mon 30 Nov 2020 The Year 3 Team

We have been inundated with photos today of learners at home who have been working incredibly hard completing all the tasks set.

One young man has really been going at it, completing all the maths and English challenges as well as the SOLE.

Then, this young lady has taken over the kitchen and cooked all the family meals this weekend!  She planned it all herself, she chopped, peeled, grated, weighed items, stirred, poured and created a beautiful Cheesy Mac with vegetables. Empty plates all round...

She loved every bit of it and even made hedgehog bangers and mash!!!!

Well done guys!  Keep up the excellent work!

As always, tomorrow's learning is all up and ready for you.  We can't wait to see what you get up to!

  • Year 4 - Incredible home learning!

    Mon 30 Nov 2020

We’ve been SO impressed with the home learning which we have received today. We have seen fantastic shields, pictures and lots of creative learning informing us about many aspects of Roman life; we even had some baked Roman bread! If you haven’t brought yours in yet, not to worry, we look forward to seeing it soon :)

  • Nursery - train tracks, cars, woods and lots of fun!

    Sat 28 Nov 2020
Nursery have had so much fun this week playing inside making train tracks, threading cheerios (great for fine motor skills!), listening to music and not forgetting all the wonderful outside experiences the children have had; Watching the steam our breath makes against the cold air, warming up with hot chocolate in the woods and racing cars down pipes! It's been so much fun!
  • HPS Food Bank Collection

    Sat 28 Nov 2020

Tuesday 1st December is our annual collection day for the Honiton Food Bank.

This year, so many people have needed help and support from this agency which is run purely on donations.

To wear non-uniform, please bring a donation.

With some children not being in, we will go ahead with our collection on the 1st but will hold another day towards the end of term to allow all year groups to also contribute. Every little bit really does help.

    Thank you!
