  • Year 3 and Year 5/6 Football Matches

    Wed 27 Mar 2019

Year 3 took on Upottery in their first ever match with 13 children representing the school, many for the first time. They played there hearts out with determination and great team spirit. The 11-0 result was secondary to the enjoyment the children had.

The year 5/6 team played Little Town in a heard fought 4-3 defeat. It wasn’t fantastic to see so many children representing their schools with fantastic sportsmanship and upholding their school values.

Congratulations to all the teams that took part in these matches.

  • How do bridges carry trains and cars?

Tue 26 Mar 2019 The Reception Team
And so began an amazing afternoon of building, creating and research! For our Wonderful World focus this week we looked at ‘bridges’ because they are a key part of our story, The Three Billy Goats Gruff. As with all Wonerful World sessions we began by brainstorming everything that we already knew and then made a list of questions that would help us find out more information about bridges. At the end of the afternoon we re-group and find out what we have learnt now that we did not know before!
