  • Nursery being creative

    Tue 25 Jun 2019
An important part of Nursery provision is our creative areas. Children are free to make and create. We encourage children to have their own ideas (and often these are much more creative than the adults!) and the adults are there to support - maybe hold the paper while they cut or suggest ways of joining materials together. Look at their concentration and creations!

  • Y4 at Dartmoor 3 Ball

    Mon 24 Jun 2019
You’d be forgiven to think that Y4 went to Dartmoor this afternoon but no! We only walked to Allhallows to take part in the first ever cluster Dartmoor 3 Ball Tournament. For anyone who doesn’t know, it’s a version of rounders that sees each team run the whole rounder every time 3 balls are thrown or hit. It’s fast and energetic - a real test of stamina! Year 4 played tactically with good placements of the ball giving themselves as much time as possible to get round before the fielders retrieved all the balls. It was tiring, but so much fun! And a tight set of results left the team in 2nd place! A great result! Well done everyone 👍🏻👏🏻🥈☀️😃
