  • Year 3 - Exploring and Investigating 3D Shapes

Thu 17 Dec 2020 Mss McManus

This morning, Warlocks Class explored 3D shapes and the nets that make them.  They learnt how 2d shapes are the nets and then when folded, they can become 3 dimensional!

Polydron was used to help with today’s challenge of nets as well as straws and modelling clay when thinking about vertices and edges.

There was some great collaboration and making links with their learning which was great to see.

Even with the challenges that we have faced as a school community this term we still managed to raise over £700 to support Children in Need, Save the Children and Sports Relief!
