Reception have been learning about recycling and waste. We decided that we hate that people drop litter on the floor and that it ruins our environment. The children felt inspired and chose to do a litter pick around school! 

We get a lot of rubbish blown in from elsewhere, so we managed to fill a whole bag! 💪

I hope that you enjoy the science experiment linked to parachutes!  It may get messy and hopefully no one will end up with egg on their face, but I'm sure you will love it!

I have also attached some topic learning activities that you may choose to have a go at ready for our return to school.  As you know, we have a large board outside our classrooms that is currently looking very sad and very bare that is crying out for some of your fantastic creations, so get creative!!

How lovely to receive lots of fantastic pictures of pieces of learning that children are really proud of.  We have Big Writes, maths, playground designs as well as some extreme reading in the freezing cold.
