    Today we used the chrome-books to create a food chain using shapes. We then used our knowledge and skills to create an information slide about an underwater predator!

    Most of us take the skill of writing for granted. Ask yourself the question, ‘When and how did I learn to write?!’ It’s a difficult question for adults to answer!

     

    Our children have started their life-long writing journeys over the last few weeks in the EFYS. From mark-making to ‘messaging’, secret-symbols to letter formation, all of the children have shown a real interest in starting to make their mark at school!

  • Year 2 - Minibeast Dance

    As part of our learning journey, the children worked together to create a mini-beast dance. They explored how they felt different mini-beasts would move and then created a dance based upon the life cycle of a butterfly. 

     

    They came up up with some fantastic moves, thinking about pace, levels, shape and direction. 

     

    I was was blown away by some of the children’s creativity. Check out the photos and don’t forget to ask the children to show you some of the moves!!

    Today in our PE session, we focused on applying all our skills acquired from the sessions this half term: our agility, speed and team work. We played Treasure Island and Run the 

    Gauntlet, which stretched us and demanded our very best. Indeed, we were so fast, Miss Bellamy struggled to capture us in motion.... we were as fast as a gazelle being chased. Take a look at the evidence.
